报告摘要:

In this talk, a framework of adaptive finite element solutions of Kohn-Sham and time-dependent Kohn-Sham equations will be introduced. The challenges from the theoretical and numerical aspects for such framework will be summarized in detail. As an important phenomenon in quantum optics, the high harmonic generation will be used to describe the application of the proposed framework.

报告人简介:

Guanghui Hu,Assistant Professor at Dept. of Mathematics, University of Macau since Aug. 2012. His research interests include adaptive numerical methods for partial differential equations, related numerical analysis, and applications in quantum mechanics and computational fluid dynamics.
