In this talk, we consider adynamic spectrum access system with a single Primary User (PU) band, wheresecondary users (SUs) are permitted to utilize the PU band opportunisticallywith no disturbance to the primary users. Considering the backoff processapplied by SUs, we employ a retrial queueing system to model this scenario, andwe aim to investigate the equilibrium behavior of SUs from the economicviewpoint. Based on the trade-off between the service reward and the delaycost, each SU must decide whether to join the system or not based on theinformation provided by the system. According to different levels ofinformation provided for SUs upon arrival, two situations with no informationor partially observable information are studied respectively. In eachsituation, two kinds of strategies are considered. The first one isindividually equilibrium strategies which maximize their own profit for SUs,while the other one is socially optimal strategies making the expected socialwelfare maximal. Moreover, comparisons are carried out between these two kindsof strategies, and an admission fee is employed to induce SUs to behave in thesocially desired way. Finally, we investigate which situation is moreprofitable from the perspective of the social planner by numerical examples.


个人简介:

王金亭,博士生导师,三级教授,北京交通大学理学院数学系支部书记、副主任。 2000年在中国科学院应用数学所获博士学位,研究领域为随机运筹优化(排队论、可靠性、随机库存理论等)、应用统计学等。现任中国运筹学会可靠性分会理事长、中国运筹学会随机服务与运作管理分会副理事长、北京运筹学会副理事长等。2006年获得教育部霍英东教育基金会第十届高等院校青年教师奖,2011年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划。现任国际刊物《International Journal of Operations ResearchAssociate Editor、《数理统计与管理》编委、《系统科学与数学》编委。主持国家自然科学基金六项、省部级项目三项。发表论文百余篇,60余篇SCI论文,SCI引用370余次,其中SCI严格他引次数270余次。
